NALVRA Newsletter privacy information
Who writes to you — and why?
The controller is René Matis (NALVRA). Full contact details are available in the Legal notice. Questions about the NALVRA Newsletter and exercising your rights can be sent to support@nalvra.de .
We use your email address and optional first name for the NALVRA Newsletter. It includes news, tips and offers from NALVRA about its own products and related services, including N@il updates, new features and roadmap previews. Other topics include AI integration, information security, software modernisation, training and support. The newsletter may therefore include topics and offers unrelated to N@il. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Signing up is optional and is not a requirement for downloading or using N@il.
Confirmation, storage and unsubscribing
After signing up, you receive a confirmation email. Your address is activated for the NALVRA Newsletter only after you follow the confirmation link and then confirm on our website. An unconfirmed entry and its link expire after 48 hours and are deleted during the next automatic cleanup.
We use active subscriber data until you unsubscribe. Each issue contains an unsubscribe link; alternatively, email support@nalvra.de. Withdrawal applies to the future and does not affect the lawfulness of previous processing. After you unsubscribe, your email address and first name are removed from the active mailing list.
As proof of consent, we store the consent text, its version and the times of subscription, confirmation and, where applicable, unsubscription. Instead of your email address, this record contains a verification value generated using a secret key. After unsubscription, it is retained for up to three years to defend against potential legal claims (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Protection against abusive signups briefly uses a similar verification value for your IP address; these entries are removed after no more than 24 hours during the next cleanup.
The website does not use tracking pixels or open and click tracking for the NALVRA Newsletter. The browser only remembers within the session whether you have already been shown the optional invitation. Your email address is not stored in browser storage.
Your rights and service providers
Within the scope of applicable law, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests under Article 21 GDPR.
Confirmed subscriptions and unsubscriptions are sent internally to newsletter@nalvra.de to manage the mailing list. Confirmed subscriptions may then be transferred to the newsletter tool used for delivery. Information about website and email hosting, processors and possible transfers to third countries is available in the NALVRA privacy policy.
